Neo-renaissance building built at the second half of 19th century, just after Jablonec nad nisou received the status of "Town". Served as the building for municipal office, post office, later also district office. After building of The New Municipal Hall, the Jablonec City Library was placed to the building of Old Municipal Hall.

New Municipal Hall
5 floor building in "functionalist" architecture style with some marks of "constructivism" and "neoclasicism" was built in 1931 - 1933 years. It had fine art deco interiors, unfortunately most of them is not preserved nowadays. The construction of the New Hall was very important for the town - it was built during the Great Economical Recession in 30th of 20th century and gave the citizen of Jablonec nad Nisou a lot of work opportunities.

Glass and Bijou Industry
Jablonec nad Nisou is the most known by the production of glass and jewellery called Bijouterie (or fashion Jewellery).

Belvedere
Late baroque house bilt in 18th century. Today it serves as a part of the Exhibition of Glass and Jewellery.

Synagogue in Jablonec nad Nisou
Well, this is one of the places "you must see" which you cannot really see. It was built in 1892 year by Jewish community and ompletely destroyed by Nazis in 1938 after the occupied the Czech Republic. We mention it here, because the Jewish community made from former poor village Jablonec a rich and developed town. Unfortunately all the Jewish families died during so called "Shoa" - which in Hebrew means - Holocaust.
